The Youth Institute of Menorca (Injove) is a public company of the Insular Council of Menorca, which is responsible for executing the youth policies of the Department of Social Welfare and youth in accordance with Decree 35/2006, of 31 March, which regulates the Youth Institute of Menorca, the law 21/2006, of 15 of December, of attribution of competitions to the councils of Menorca and of Ibiza and Formentera in matter of youth and leisure..

INJOVE manages the children's and youth facilities, which are specifically intended to welcome children and young people in the framework of the development of children's and youth educational leisure activities or to provide temporary accommodation for young people for labor or training issues.
All children's and youth facilities have a clear educational and/or social purpose, which is included in their educational project.
According to article 25 of Law 10/2022, of December 23, on educational leisure for children and young people of the Balearic Islands, children and young people up to 30 years old and groups of children may be users of the facilities and young people. Exceptionally, children's and youth facilities can accommodate people over 30 years old under the conditions determined by the regulations of the island councils in the following cases:
- When they participate together with children and young people in the activities they develop as monitor, educator or support staff.
- When it comes to families with children and young people who participate in activities that, due to their characteristics or social interest, justify the use of the facility.
- When they participate in educational, public interest or social activities promoted by public or non-profit entities.
- Child and youth educational leisure professionals, regardless of age, who carry out activities specific to their training, training and practices.
