Menorca is an island and to get there, you need to come by plane or boat. In the case of the plane, there are regular lines throughout the year with Palma, Barcelona and Madrid. During the summer months, the offer of flights to Menorca is bigger, with connections to many Spanish and European airports. On the other hand, the boat has traditionally been the cheapest option to travel to Menorca, and we currently have regular lines with Alcúdia, Palma, Barcelona and Valencia. During the summer months, the frequencies are expanded considerably, and some connections are incorporated with other harbours.
In the case of groups, INJOVE can provide information of transport companies to reach the facility that you have reserved.
Depending on the installation where you are staying and what you want to do during your stay, your transportation needs will vary considerably, so maybe you do not need more than your legs to move around or you need a large capacity bus. In any case, you have to take into account that the regular public transport lines do not reach the country houses nor Camp Biniparratx, so you have to keep this in mind when planning your trip.
In the case of Sa Vinyeta, in about 20 minutes walking you can reach the centre of Ciutadella and, from there, you can take any regular bus. Bicycles can also be an option if the distances are not excessive. In any case, inform yourself very well of how you can move around during your stay and if you have any doubts, call us so we can help you.
